Song

A very basic piece that I wrote in one go and finetuned the next evening. The first person that heard it was a good friend of mine, when I played it for him over the telephone, late at night. "Sounds a bit like John Fahey", he said.

Recording

Track length: [01:46].
Instruments: Seagull S6+Cedar (lead and percussion).
This piece is fun to play, it's one of those songs that puts a smile on your face. So, I thought it would be nice to have an arrangement that suggested a couple of musicians playing this piece together. After all, sharing music is one of the best things in life. Apart from two lead guitar tracks (playing in unison) the recording contains two percussion tracks, in which the pickguard of a guitar is tapped rhythmically, and two rhythm trackcs, in which muted strings are strummed like there is no tomorrow. It was a real challenge to come up with a good balance between the melody and the rhythm.
